Celebrating years

Welcome! We are thrilled to celebrate Astraea´s 40th Anniversary with you all tonight.

Forty years ago. Astraea´s founding mothers came together as lesbians and women of color to take matters into their own hands and support our movements from within. Since that moment, Astraea has been intentionally shifting resources and power to catalize transformational feminist social change. Astraea still works side-by-side with the fierce LGBTQI activists she supports to collectively realize world where all people can enjoy pleasure, joy, rights, justice, autonomy, safety, community and self-determination.
